It’s the fourth anniversary of the release of Kathmandu and Jacaranda into the wild.
These two lynxes were the first to be released and were first ‘soft’ released to a large enclosure in the Alentejo, in 2014. Then on 2nd February the doors to that enclosure were opened and they were truly free. They went on to parent the first free born Iberian lynx cub in 30 years. This precious lynx cub named ‘Nossa’.
